Fastnet’s ‘Feeling Groovy’ Snail Raises Money for Martlets Hospice

We’re extremely proud to announce that we are an official sponsor of Snailspace 2018 – helping to raise money for Martlets Hospice whilst spreading an important mental health message throughout Brighton.

After the Snowdogs of 2016 helped to raise over £300,000 for Martlets Hospice, the fun is back on the streets with the mindful message to #BeMoreSnail. We have teamed up with local artist Pinky to put a beautifully painted ‘Feeling Groovy’ snail outside the Duke of York’s Cinema this September.

“We interpret #bemoresnail to be a message about reducing stress in day to day life. Fastnet prides itself on providing reliable, stress free services to organisations who need peace of mind. We provide uninterrupted connectivity at the best possible speeds, hosting, VoIP, security and backup solutions. By maintaining our award winning standards, our customers are able to #bemoresnail and concentrate on the things that matter.” Joe Kerr – Managing Director, Fastnet.

Martlets are one of many Fastnet customers who do incredible work in the community. Imelda Glackin, CEO at Martlets spoke about Fastnet’s involvement. “We’re delighted to have Fastnet as a Snailspace sponsor. By getting involved in the project not only are they supporting Martlets in its vital work, but they are also giving back to the city of Brighton & Hove by helping us put on this fantastic life affirming event.”

All of us at Fastnet would like to thank Pinky for creating such incredible artwork. His work caught our eye because it’s so fun, colourful and memorable. His designs can be seen on the streets, craft beer cans, skateboard decks, canvas and now on our large fiberglass snail! Take a look at his Instagram feed here.

Keep an eye on our Twitter feed for all things #BeMoreSnail – and we’ll see you on the trail when September arrives.
