Earlier this year, we were approached by one of our customers Brighton Dome & Brighton Festival. Brighton Dome’s existing analogue phone system was at the end of its life and so we were given the challenge of carrying out an extensive VoIP installation across their office and venue spaces. This included their recently-opened ticket office at the Church Street entrance to Brighton Dome. The installation took place in their peak period during Brighton Festival which runs throughout May. The VoIP system was installed within just three weeks of the contract being signed.
Brighton Dome is currently undergoing redevelopment works and usually operates three performance spaces year round. It is also responsible for the delivery of Brighton Festival annually in May. As part of the Royal Pavilion Estate it continues to be one of Brighton’s most popular landmarks, needless to say it’s also a popular venue with over 650,000 visitors each year.
Tim Metcalfe – Head of Management Information Systems, was overseeing the work at Brighton Dome.
“Fastnet’s professionalism, product knowledge and speed of service were excellent and made for a seamless transition to our new VoIP installation. The switchover was entirely transparent to our customers and staff. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and the Fastnet Hosted Voice service to others and look forward to integrating further aspects of the systems functionality into our business”
