Our data centres in Brighton and London are high capacity, highly secure and offer multiple layers of redundancy for powering and cooling your machines. Power is fed into the sites via two separate national grid connections. We also have dual UPS and dual on-site generators on standby should the power grid fail. Fastnet’s core network runs exclusively on Cisco hardware.
Often, the location of a data centre is really important. You want your server far enough away to offer real redundancy protection – but not so far as to be a huge undertaking to visit. Brighton offers a reasonable travelling time for the London based engineer.
