Today we announce a huge upgrade for our hosting plans improving performance, stability and security – thanks to our new partnership with CloudLinux and Imunifiy360. Server security is always top of mind here at Fastnet so I’m delighted for you to have the ability to add another layer of defence against malware, abuse and unauthorised access.
CloudLinux OS was built especially for Virtual Private Server environments. It isolates each account using Lightweight Virtual Environments to prevent abuse and ensure smooth operation. We can expect more consistent speeds, dedicated resource limits, fewer crashes, less down time and more control. Imunify360 offers enterprise grade security with real time protection from malware, brute force attacks and other common threats. Specifically it has real-time malware detection and cleanup, Web Application Firewall, proactive defence against zero-day attack and reputation management.
