Fastnet are pleased to announce Fastnet Active Monitoring, the next enhancement to our award winning customer service commitment.

With Fastnet, you can be confident your internet connection is in capable hands. We are one of the most trusted ISP’s in the UK, with a proven track record of supplying market leading connectivity to all sizes of business up and down the country, which is always backed by our commitment to great customer service.

However, we live in an ever evolving digital world! In the unlikely case that something unpredictable happens, we have invested in a new piece of technology that pro-actively checks your connectivity and reports any problems to an email address or mobile phone number of your choice. We can add any number of contacts to your account, so notifications can be sent to the people who need to know.

Alerting is handled by distributed datacentres outside our core network, adding redundancy and reliability to the checks and alerts. If a site monitor check shows that your service is down, we automatically recheck it from other locations before notifications are sent. To tailor this service to your business, alert thresholds and schedules can be adjusted in line with your needs depending on how much notice of downtime you require.

This service is included free of charge for our Business Ethernet and Resilient connectivity customers, and as always our engineers are always on hand to assist you with further circuit checks if necessary.
