Getting Started

Step 1: Locate the enabled phone socket and plug in the ADSL microfilter. Microfilters split your telephone line, enabling you to talk or fax and be online at the same time. You will need a microfilter plugged in to the master socket and each extension that is in use.
Step 2: Plug your ADSL router into the corresponding socket in the microfilter (the cable should go from the line port on the router and into the socket). The other socket on the microfilter can be used for your phone or fax machine if you wish.
Step 3: Plug the power cable into the back of your router and the other end into the power socket.
Step 4: One end of the Ethernet cable goes into one of the 4 LAN ports on the router and into the back of your computer (you can plug in up to 4 stand alone computers directly).
